Jai Prakash Nishad

Jai Prakash Nishad is an Indian politician serving as a member of the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly, representing the Rudrapur constituency. A long-standing member of the Bharatiya Janata Party, he has been elected to the assembly for three terms, first winning his seat in 1991 and subsequently in 1996 and 2017. During his political career, he has served in the Yogi Adityanath ministry, where he held portfolios including Animal Husbandry, Fisheries, and the Estate Department.
