Jakub Kwaśny

Jakub Kwaśny is a Polish local government official, economist, and academic teacher serving as the Mayor of Tarnów since May 2024. He previously served as a member of the Tarnów City Council for four terms starting in 2006 and as President (Chairman) of the City Council from 2018 to 2024. Educated at the Cracow University of Economics where he earned his doctorate in economic sciences, he has also worked as an assistant professor and lecturer at several academic institutions.
