JAMAL MIRDAD

Jamal Mirdad is an Indonesian politician, singer, and veteran actor who serves as a member of the House of Representatives (DPR RI). Born in Kudus, Central Java, he achieved widespread recognition in the Indonesian entertainment industry before entering politics, winning the Citra Award for Best Leading Actor at the Indonesian Film Festival in 1992 for his role in 'Ramadhan dan Ramona'. Affiliated with the Great Indonesia Movement Party (Gerindra), he represents the Central Java I electoral district and is active in parliamentary commissions focusing on education, culture, and the creative economy.
