James Dunnigan

James Dunnigan is an American politician serving as a member of the Utah House of Representatives for the 36th district. First elected in November 2002, he assumed office on January 1, 2003, and previously served as the House's majority leader during the 2015 and 2016 legislative sessions. Outside of his legislative career, Dunnigan owns an insurance agency and has served on the Taylorsville City Council and the Taylorsville/Bennion Community Council. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in business management from the University of Utah and currently resides in Taylorsville with his family.
