James Ohrenschall is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Nevada Senate, representing District 21 since 2018. Prior to his tenure in the Senate, he served in the Nevada Assembly from 2006 to 2018, where he succeeded his mother, Eugenia 'Genie' Ohrenschall. A member of the Democratic Party, Ohrenschall holds a Juris Doctor from the William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and has been a consistent presence in Nevada state politics for nearly two decades.
