Nicole Cannizzaro is an American politician serving as a member of the Nevada Senate, representing the 6th district. She made history as the first woman to serve as the Majority Leader of the Nevada Senate. A graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno and the William S. Boyd School of Law, she previously worked as a Chief Deputy District Attorney in Clark County. Throughout her legislative career, Cannizzaro has focused on public safety, healthcare affordability, education funding, and the protection of reproductive rights. She is currently the Democratic nominee for Nevada Attorney General.
