Mark Born is an American politician serving as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly, representing the 37th Assembly district since 2025. Previously, he represented the 39th Assembly district from 2013 to 2025 and has served as the Assembly co-chair of the Joint Finance Committee since 2021. Born began his political career on the Beaver Dam city council and has been a long-time advocate for conservative fiscal policies, including reduced regulation and government spending. He holds a degree in political science and history from Gustavus Adolphus College and previously worked in law enforcement and corrections administration.
