James Rosapepe

James Rosapepe is an American politician and diplomat currently serving as a member of the Maryland Senate, representing District 21 since 2007. Previously, he served in the Maryland House of Delegates from 1987 to 1997 and as the United States Ambassador to Romania from 1998 to 2001. Throughout his career, Rosapepe has been a prominent advocate for education funding, environmental protection, and organized labor. He has also held various roles in the private sector, including serving as the CEO of Patuxent Capital Group, and has been a key figure in Maryland Democratic politics for decades.
