Dave Baker

Dave Baker is an American politician serving as a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives since 2015, representing District 16B. A small business owner with a background in the restaurant and hospitality industry, Baker entered politics following the tragic death of his son due to an opioid overdose. He has since become a prominent advocate for addressing the opioid epidemic, authoring legislation to improve prescription monitoring and serving as chair of the Opioid Response Advisory Council.
