Jan Metzler

Jan Metzler is a German politician who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2013, representing the constituency of Worms. A trained winemaker with an MBA and a master's degree in International Management, he previously worked as an international coordinator at the University of Applied Sciences of Worms. Throughout his parliamentary career, he has focused on economic affairs, energy, and budgetary oversight. Politically, Metzler has advocated for middle-class support and collective bargaining, while notably breaking with his party in 2017 to vote in favor of same-sex marriage.
