Jan Oddvar Skisland

Jan Oddvar Skisland is a Norwegian politician who served as the Mayor of Kristiansand for two separate periods. He first held the office from 2003 to 2007 representing the Christian Democratic Party, and later returned to serve as mayor from 2019 to 2023 as a member of the Labour Party. During his political career, he has focused on urban development, including improvements to public transport and cycling infrastructure. Before his political tenure, Skisland held various professional roles, including positions at the University of Agder and as a top executive for the football club Start.
