Before his election to the state parliament in 2021, he worked as a constituency assistant and as a specialist advisor for internal and European affairs for the AfD parliamentary group. Within the Landtag, he serves as the deputy parliamentary group leader and as the spokesperson for European and migration policy. He has also been a member of the Zippendorf local council since 2019.
