Jana Stewart is an Australian politician and member of the Australian Labor Party who has served as a Senator for Victoria since 2022. An Aboriginal Australian of the Muthi Muthi and Wamba-Wamba peoples, she is the youngest Aboriginal woman to serve in the federal parliament. Before entering politics, she worked as a family therapist, university lecturer, and policy adviser specializing in Aboriginal affairs and child protection. In 2024, she was elected chair of the federal parliament's Joint Standing Committee on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Affairs.
