Jane Castro

Jane Tan Castro is a Filipino politician currently serving as a member of the House of Representatives, representing the 2nd congressional district of Capiz. First elected in 2010, she has been a prolific legislator, authoring several bills that were enacted into law, including Republic Act No. 10154 regarding retirement benefits and the Philippine Interior Design Act of 2011. After a hiatus, she returned to the House in 2022 and was re-elected unopposed in 2025. Her legislative work has focused on government employee tenure and infrastructure development.
