Percival Cendaña is a Filipino politician, writer, and advocate for human rights who serves as a member of the House of Representatives for the Akbayan Party-list. A graduate of the University of the Philippines Diliman, he previously served as a Commissioner for Luzon at the National Youth Commission from 2011 to 2016. In Congress, Cendaña has focused on youth empowerment, LGBTQ+ rights, and criminal justice reform, notably introducing the 'Kian Bill' to prohibit abusive anti-drug operations. He is an openly gay man and a stroke survivor who continues to champion inclusive governance and accountability in the Philippine government.
