Janet Horner

Janet Horner is an Irish Green Party politician serving as a member of Dublin City Council since September 2019, representing the North Inner City local electoral area. She became chairperson of the Green Party in May 2025 and acts as the party's spokesperson on Foreign Affairs, Trade, and Defence. With a background in politics, human rights, and community development, she holds a degree in Anthropology and Development Studies and a master's in Politics and Public Policy. Horner is also an active trade unionist, a board member of the Rotunda Hospital, and a campaigner for social equality and progressive reform in Ireland.
