Roderic O'Gorman is an Irish politician who has served as the leader of the Green Party since July 2024. He has been a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Dublin West constituency since 2020 and previously served as the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth from 2020 to 2025. Before entering national politics, O'Gorman worked as an academic, lecturing in law at Griffith College and Dublin City University. A long-time advocate for LGBT+ rights, he has focused his political career on social equality, childcare reform, and environmental policy.
