Janice Degamo

Janice Degamo is a Filipino politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives for Negros Oriental's 3rd congressional district since 2025. Prior to her election to Congress, she served as the mayor of Pamplona from 2016 to 2025. She is the widow of the late Negros Oriental governor Roel Degamo, who was assassinated in 2023. Throughout her career, she has navigated significant political challenges, including a residency-based disqualification case during her 2025 congressional campaign, which she successfully overcame to win her seat.
