Janil Puthucheary is a Malaysian-born Singaporean politician and paediatrician who has served as a Member of Parliament for the Punggol Group Representation Constituency since 2025. A member of the People's Action Party, he has held various government appointments, including Senior Minister of State for Sustainability and the Environment and Senior Minister of State for Education. Before entering politics, he worked as a paediatrician in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Singapore, eventually becoming a Senior Consultant at KK Women's and Children's Hospital. He is also the chairman of the PAP youth wing and has served as a Government Whip.
