
Ong Ye Kung

Ong Ye Kung is a Singaporean politician who has served as the Minister for Health since 2021 and as the Coordinating Minister for Social Policies since 2025. A member of the People's Action Party, he has represented the Sembawang Central division as a Member of Parliament since 2015. Throughout his career, he has held various cabinet portfolios, including Minister for Education and Minister for Transport, and played a key role in Singapore's COVID-19 pandemic response. Before entering politics, he held senior positions in the civil service, the National Trades Union Congress, and the private sector.
