Jaromír Strnad

Jaromír Strnad is a Czech politician currently serving as the Mayor of Čáslav, a position he has held since 2022, having previously led the town from 2010 to 2018. A member of the Social Democratic Party (SOCDEM), he served as a Senator for the Kutná Hora district from 2010 to 2022 and was a member of the Central Bohemian Regional Council between 2008 and 2012. Educated as a civil engineer at the Czech Technical University in Prague, he held various management roles in the construction and sports sectors before focusing on his political career.
