Jarosław Słoma

Jarosław Słoma is a Polish politician and local government official serving as a member of the Warmian-Masurian Regional Assembly. He studied history at the University of Gdańsk and was active in the Independent Students' Association during the 1980s, experiencing internment under martial law. Throughout his career, he has served as deputy mayor of Gołdap, deputy voivode of Suwałki, board member and vice-marshal of the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, and deputy mayor of Olsztyn. Politically associated with the Liberal-Democratic Party 'Niepodległość', the Liberal Democratic Congress, the Freedom Union, and later Civic Platform, he has received multiple state decorations including the Officer's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta and the Cross of Freedom and Solidarity.
