
Jasper Balke

Jasper Balke is a German politician and member of the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein, representing the constituency of Lübeck-Süd. Born in 1997, he became the youngest parliamentarian in the state legislature upon his election in 2022. Before entering politics, he completed a voluntary social year in nursing and pursued studies in human medicine at the University of Lübeck with a scholarship from the Heinrich Böll Foundation. Balke has been active in the Green Youth organization and served as the district chair of Alliance 90/The Greens in Lübeck. In the Landtag, he serves as a member of the Social Committee and as a deputy member of the Education Committee.
