Jasvir Deol is a Canadian politician serving as a Member of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta for the electoral district of Edmonton-Meadows. Born in Punjab, India, he immigrated to Canada in 1993. Before his election to the provincial legislature in 2019, he was a federal candidate for the New Democratic Party in the 2015 Canadian election. Within the Alberta NDP caucus, he has served as the Official Opposition Critic for Multiculturalism and currently holds the position of Official Opposition critic for Infrastructure.
