Jean-Claude Leroy

Jean-Claude Leroy is a French politician who has served as the President of the Departmental Council of Pas-de-Calais since 2017. A member of the Socialist Party, he previously held several elected offices, including serving as a member of the National Assembly of France from 2000 to 2002 and again from 2007 to 2011, as well as serving as a Senator from 2011 to 2017. Earlier in his career, he was the mayor of Lumbres and held various roles within the departmental council. He was appointed a Knight of the Legion of Honour in 2019.
