Jean-Luc Brault

Jean-Luc Brault is a French politician serving as a member of the French Senate for Loir-et-Cher since 2023. Before his election to the Senate, he held various local offices, including serving as the mayor of Contres from 1995 to 2019 and as the mayor of the merged commune of Controis-en-Sologne until 2022. He also presided over the Val de Cher-Controis community of communes from 2013 to 2023. Brault is currently the subject of a preliminary investigation regarding allegations of illegal conflict of interest and public procurement irregularities during his tenure as a local official.
