Jeff Shipley

Jeff Shipley is an American politician currently serving as a member of the Iowa House of Representatives for District 87. Born in Euclid, Ohio, and raised in Naperville, Illinois, he earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Iowa in 2010. Since 2011, he has resided in Fairfield, Iowa. Throughout his legislative career, Shipley has been known for his conservative policy stances, including efforts to restrict gender identity protections and his vocal opposition to the concept of white privilege. He currently serves as the vice chair for the Government Oversight and Higher Education Committees within the Iowa House.
