Jen Butler is an Australian politician serving as a member of the Tasmanian House of Assembly for the Division of Lyons. First elected in 2018, she represents the Labor Party and was re-elected in 2025. Before entering parliament, she worked for Lyons MPs Michael Polley and David Llewellyn. She is the daughter of former Tasmanian MP Heather Butler and is married with three children. In 2025, she unsuccessfully contested the positions of Speaker of the House and Chair of Committees.
