Madeleine King is an Australian politician serving as the Minister for Resources and Minister for Northern Australia in the Albanese government since 2022. A member of the Australian Labor Party, she has represented the Western Australian seat of Brand in the House of Representatives since 2016. Before entering federal politics, King worked as a commercial lawyer and held various administrative roles at the University of Western Australia, including chief operating officer of the Perth USAsia Centre. She is a member of the Labor Right faction and has previously served as Shadow Minister for Trade and Resources.
