Jennifer Bacon is an American attorney, educator, and politician currently serving as a member of the Colorado House of Representatives for the 7th district. First elected in 2020 and assuming office in 2021, she has played a significant role in state leadership, including her selection as assistant majority leader for the 2023 legislative session. Prior to her legislative career, Bacon worked extensively in education, serving as the dean of students at the Denver School of Science and Technology, managing director of Teach For America, and as a director within Denver Public Schools. She holds a Bachelor of Science from Tulane University, a Master of Science from Florida International University, and a Juris Doctor from William & Mary Law School.
