Jens Lehmann

Jens Lehmann is a German politician and former professional cyclist who has served as a member of the Bundestag since 2017, representing the Leipzig I district. Before entering politics, he enjoyed a distinguished athletic career as a double Olympic champion in cycling. In his parliamentary role, he has been an active member of the Defence Committee since 2018 and the Sports Committee since 2022. Additionally, he serves on the supervisory board of the Agency for Innovation in Cybersecurity and is a member of the German War Graves Commission.
