Shin Jeong-hun is a South Korean politician currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly, representing the Naju and Hwasun constituency. A former labor and social activist, he gained prominence for his involvement in the 1985 Seoul American Cultural Center occupation. Shin previously served as the Mayor of Naju from 2002 to 2010 and as a member of the South Jeolla Provincial Council. Throughout his career, he has focused on agricultural policy, local autonomy, and political reform, maintaining a long-standing affiliation with the Democratic Party of Korea.
