Jeremy Gray

Jeremy Askew Gray is an American politician, fitness instructor, and former professional football player serving as a Democratic member of the Alabama House of Representatives for the 83rd district. Born in Opelika, Alabama, he played college football at North Carolina State University before pursuing a professional career in the Arena Football League and with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Since his election to the Alabama House in 2018, Gray has focused on civic engagement and bipartisan cooperation, notably serving as a co-chair of the Alabama chapter of the Future Caucus. He is recognized for his legislative efforts, including successfully advocating for the removal of a long-standing ban on yoga in Alabama public schools.
