Jeremy Rockliff is an Australian politician serving as the 47th Premier of Tasmania since 2022. A member of the Liberal Party, he previously served as Deputy Premier from 2014 to 2022. First elected to the Tasmanian House of Assembly in 2002 representing the division of Braddon, Rockliff has held various ministerial portfolios, including Education and Training. Known as a moderate Liberal, he has championed initiatives such as the Tasmanian AFL bid and the construction of the Macquarie Point Stadium. He currently leads a minority government following the 2025 state election.
