Jerry Cirino

Jerry Cirino is an American politician and former medical device company executive currently serving as a member of the Ohio Senate representing the 18th district. First elected in 2020, he previously served as a Lake County Commissioner. A member of the Republican Party, Cirino has been a prominent advocate for conservative education policies, notably introducing Senate Bill 1 in 2025, which mandated the elimination of diversity, equity, and inclusion offices at public universities across Ohio.
