Jerzy Polaczek is a Polish politician, lawyer, and local government official who has served as a member of the Sejm since 1997. Throughout his extensive parliamentary career, he held the position of Minister of Transport and Construction from 2005 to 2006 and Minister of Transport from 2006 to 2007. Before entering national politics, he was active in local government in Piekary Śląskie, serving as a city councilor and deputy mayor. Polaczek is a member of the Law and Justice party and has been re-elected to the Sejm across multiple legislative terms.
