Jesse Chism

Jesse Chism is an American politician serving as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives for District 85. First elected in 2018, he has focused his legislative work on education, government operations, and state agency oversight. Before entering politics, Chism worked as a high school teacher with Memphis City Schools, a disaster inspector for FEMA, and a program director for the Tennessee Mental Health Consumers Association. He is currently a real estate investor and the president of Chism Consulting. He holds a degree in Business Administration from Morehouse College and a Master of Education from Union University.
