Jesse James

Jesse James is an American politician and law enforcement professional serving as a member of the Wisconsin State Senate for the 23rd district since 2023. A member of the Republican Party, he previously served two terms in the Wisconsin State Assembly representing the 68th district. Before entering politics, James worked as a police and fire chief in Altoona, Wisconsin, and he continues to serve as an active-duty law enforcement officer in the Village of Cadott. His legislative work has focused on public safety, mental health, and substance abuse prevention.
