Jiří Horák is a Czech politician and sociologist currently serving as a Member of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic. A member of the KDU-ČSL party, he has also served as the mayor of Bučovice since 2017. Horák holds a doctorate in sociology from Palacký University Olomouc, where he focused on secularization and political sociology. Throughout his career, he has been active in regional politics, serving as a representative for the South Moravian Region, and has held leadership roles within his party and parliamentary committees, including the Committee on Defense.
