Jill N. Cooper

Jill N. Cooper is an American politician serving as a Republican member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives for the 55th District since 2023. Born in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, she earned a degree in management engineering from Grove City College and spent fourteen years working for Alcoa, eventually serving as a vice president of sales and overseas marketing. Before her election to the state legislature, she was active in local politics as a member of the Westmoreland County Republican Committee and a political organizer who advocated against COVID-19 pandemic-related business closures. In office, she has focused on electoral transparency, including proposals to remove home county notations from primary ballots.
