Jimmie Åkesson

Jimmie Åkesson is a Swedish politician who has served as the leader of the Sweden Democrats since 2005. A member of the Riksdag representing Jönköping County since 2010, he is credited with transforming his party from a fringe movement into one of the largest political forces in Sweden. His political platform emphasizes law and order, the expansion of nuclear power, and the defense of Swedish culture against mass migration. Before his full-time political career, he worked as a web developer and co-founded a design company.
