Jin-woo Joo is a South Korean politician and former prosecutor currently serving as a member of the 22nd National Assembly representing Haeundae-gu Gap in Busan. A graduate of Seoul National University's College of Law, he passed the 41st Judicial Examination and held various prosecutorial positions, including roles at the Seoul Eastern District Prosecutors' Office and the Presidential Office. Following his tenure as the inaugural Legal Secretary to the President under the Yoon Suk-yeol administration, he entered electoral politics and was elected to the National Assembly in 2024 as a member of the People Power Party. Throughout his legislative career, he has been active in the Legislation and Judiciary Committee and various special committees focused on legal and policy oversight.
