Jo Hersey

Jo Hersey is an Australian politician currently serving as a member of the Northern Territory Legislative Assembly, representing the electoral division of Katherine. Born in Adelaide in 1967, she moved to the Northern Territory during her youth before eventually settling in Katherine following her marriage. Prior to her career in politics, she worked as a professional hairdresser, continuing a family tradition that spanned three generations. She was first elected to the Legislative Assembly in the 2020 Northern Territory general election as a candidate for the Country Liberal Party.
