Joanah Mamombe is a Zimbabwean politician and activist who serves as a member of the National Assembly representing Harare West. Born in 1993, she gained prominence as a student leader and became the youngest member of parliament in Zimbabwe following the 2018 general election. Mamombe holds a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Chinhoyi University of Technology and a Master's degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Bergen in Norway. Throughout her political career, she has been a vocal critic of the government and has faced numerous arrests and legal challenges, including allegations of treason and reports of abduction and torture while protesting against government policies during the COVID-19 pandemic.
