Joanne Ryan

Joanne Ryan is an Australian politician who has served as a member of the House of Representatives for the Division of Lalor since 2013. A member of the Australian Labor Party, she currently holds the position of Chief Government Whip. Before entering federal politics, Ryan had a distinguished career in education, serving as a teacher, assistant principal, and school principal.
