Joanne Shofner is an American politician serving as the representative for District 11 in the Texas House of Representatives. A seventh-generation Texan and small business owner, she previously served as the president of the Nacogdoches County Republican Party. Shofner rose to prominence in 2024 by defeating incumbent Travis Clardy in a Republican primary, campaigning on a platform that strongly supported school voucher programs. She assumed office in January 2025.
