Joaquín Díaz Mena is a Mexican politician currently serving as the Governor of Yucatán since October 1, 2024. Before his election as governor, he served as a federal deputy in the 60th and 63rd sessions of the Mexican Congress and was a member of the state legislature of Yucatán. Originally a member of the National Action Party (PAN), he switched his affiliation to the National Regeneration Movement (Morena) in 2018. His professional background includes experience in tourism business administration, hospitality management, and teaching.
