Jodi Newell

Jodi Newell is an American politician serving as a Democratic member of the New Hampshire House of Representatives for the Cheshire 4th district. A dedicated community organizer and advocate for harm reduction, she played a key role in the passage of the federal Mainstreaming Addiction Treatment (MAT) Act. Her legislative priorities include substance use treatment, housing rights, mental health, and reproductive freedom. She previously worked with the unhoused in a transitional shelter before her election to the state legislature in 2022.
