Joe Morris is a British Labour Party politician serving as the Member of Parliament for Hexham since 2024. He made history as the first Labour MP to represent the constituency, ending a century-long streak of Conservative representation. Before his election, Morris worked as a parliamentary assistant and as an Associate Director at the public affairs agency Hanbury Strategy. In 2025, he was appointed as a parliamentary private secretary in the Department of Health and Social Care, a role he held until his resignation in May 2026.
