Joe O'Reilly is an Irish Fine Gael politician serving as a senator for the Labour Panel since April 2016, having previously held seats in the Seanad across multiple non-consecutive terms starting in 1989. He served as a TD for the Cavan–Monaghan constituency from 2011 to 2016, and as Leas-Chathaoirleach of Seanad Éireann from August 2020 to December 2022. Professionally a primary school teacher, he has also been active in local government as a member of Cavan County Council.
